In contrast to the barrel roller bearing, this has no shoulders, and the roller is not centered within the inner race. The outer race is not a sphere but uses a larger radius. The bearing supports only small axial load, and the radial clearance is dependent on the axial displacement.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"><br/></span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">New bearing types</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">For the 2022 version of&nbsp;MESYS Rolling Bearing Calculation&nbsp;double row thrust <a href="https://www.plomachinery.cn/products/Cylindrical-Roller-Bearing/196.html" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 112, 192); text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 112, 192);"><strong>cylindrical roller bearings</strong></span></a> are added as bearing type. Then in total 30 bearing types are supported within the software. Before some customers just increased the roller length for single row thrust cylindrical roller bearings, but this leads to different profiling of the rollers.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"><br/></span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">The addition of output for radial load zone</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">On customer request an output for the ratio of loaded <a href="https://www.bearingroller.com/rolling-elements/" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 112, 192); text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 112, 192);"><strong>rolling elements</strong></span></a> was added to the&nbsp;MESYS Rolling Bearing Calculation. A value of 50% would correspond to a load zone of 180°, 25% would be a load zone of 90°. Here for a cylindrical roller bearing under radial load for three different values of clearance. A small load zone could lead to sliding and using a numeric value allows faster comparisons than comparing graphics.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"><br/></span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Color plots for 3D-deformations</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Based on a customer request a color plot for displacement fields was now added&nbsp;for MESYS Shaft Calculation&nbsp;version&nbsp;08/2021. Color plots for harmonic response, stresses or equivalent radiated power had been available before.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"><br/></span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Asymmetric spherical roller bearings support</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Asymmetric spherical roller bearings are supported in the&nbsp;MESYS Shaft and Rolling Bearing Calculation&nbsp;Software. In the bearing calculation half an asymmetric bearing can be defined and they can be assembled in the shaft calculation. This extension had been requested by a few customers, but as it is not used often this restricted support within the bearing calculation should be acceptable.</span></p><p><br/></p>
