Asset Management Principles and Strategic Development by PEMAC

<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20211013/1634109669131599.png" title="1634109669131599.png" alt="6.png"/></p><p>Municipal practitioners from across Canada are invited to join delivery of&nbsp;Course One&nbsp;of&nbsp;PEMAC’s Asset Management Professional (AMP) education and certification program&nbsp;that starts this month.</p><p><br/></p><p>Made possible by a grant through the Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP), which is delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and funded by the Government of Canada,</p><p>Course One:&nbsp;Asset Management Principles and Strategic Development&nbsp;is available&nbsp;to&nbsp;municipal practitioners live online over five&nbsp;full days, at a discounted tuition.</p><p><br/></p><p>The course, that is delivered&nbsp;by Northern Lakes College, provides an overview of the essentials of Asset Management in the context&nbsp;of ISO 5500x and the GFMAM Landscape, enabling participants to realize value by applying asset management concepts in their municipality.</p><p><br/></p><p>Next Course One Dates &nbsp; &nbsp;Time Zone &nbsp; &nbsp;Course Registration Fee&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Tues. Oct. 19 to Thurs. Oct. 21 &amp;<br/>Wed., Oct. 27 to Thurs. Oct. 28 &nbsp; &nbsp;Eastern Time<br/>10:00 am to 5:30 pm &nbsp; &nbsp;$295 per qualifying participant &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>The full&nbsp;AMP program&nbsp;is&nbsp;comprised of six courses and introduces participants to the latest in strategic asset management thinking, builds knowledge&nbsp;in key subject areas such as risk management, knowledge management (enterprise database systems) and introduces tools for strategic decision making at each stage of the asset lifecycle.</p><p><br/></p><p>Participants in the municipal offering of Course One will earn full credit that they can use to continue in the other five courses of the AMP program in the&nbsp;public offering at Northern Lakes College. Completion of all six courses of the Asset Management Professional certificate program is one way to achieve the&nbsp;“CAMP” certification&nbsp;from PEMAC.</p><p><br/></p>
