AGMA 2021 SRN Event Includes Clemson University SCE&G Energy Innovation Center Tour

<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20210524/1621841687561564.jpg" title="1621841687561564.jpg" alt="6.jpg"/></p><p>The AGMA 2021 Strategic Resources Network Event, June 9-11 in Charleston, SC., offers a terrific lineup for future leaders starting with a 4-hour contract negotiation training course (included in registration price), a full-day of great presentations, an evening to network at a Low Country Boil, and a facility tour at the Clemson University SCE&amp;G Energy Innovation Center.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy awarded a $45 million grant to Clemson University. The purpose of this grant is to design, build and operate a facility capable of full-scale, highly accelerated testing of next-generation wind turbine drivetrain technology.</p><p><br/></p><p>The US Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency &amp; Renewable Energy objectives for the project are to:</p><p>?Accelerate the development and deployment of new wind turbine technology.</p><p>?Reduce the cost of energy delivered that will result in further growth in the market leading to economic development.</p><p>?Support the country’s push towards energy independence.</p><p><br/></p><p>Attendees may see both 7.5 MW and 15 MW test rigs (subject to availability) during the tour.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p>
