New features include:</p><p>Palette Modeling:</p><p>MASTA 11’s&nbsp;new component palette serves to further simplify the modeling process with a new drag-and-drop modeling system.</p><p><br/></p><p>SpaceClaim CAD Link:</p><p>MASTA’s&nbsp;new SpaceClaim CAD Link gives engineers the ability to pass data from CAD to&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;with zero intermediary steps. Gone are the days of the compulsory mesh generation in a dedicated FE software package.&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;can now link directly with ANSYS SpaceClaim, actively exchanging geometry at the click of a button and linking it to&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;components using brand-new and in-built meshing capabilities. These same abilities are also utilized by the new STL Import tool. Simply import an STL format geometry file (easily generated in all major CAD packages), mesh and connect to your transmission model. All without leaving&nbsp;MASTA.</p><p><br/></p><p>Asymmetric Gears:</p><p>Asymmetric gears are an innovative advancement in gear technology showing various advantages over conventional symmetric gears where gear flanks are unevenly loaded.
